Services for Hurley L. Mayo, age 87, of Dresden, TN will be held Saturday January 6, 2018 at 2pm at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4-7pm at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. It will resume Saturday at 12pm and go until time of his service at 2pm. Hurley is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mayo, of Dresden, TN. He is also survived by nine children; Billy (Carol) Mayo of Union City, TN, Bobby (Sam) Mayo of Martin, TN, Thomas Mayo of Union City, TN, Vic (Debra) Watkins of Sevierville, TN, Mark (Melody) Watkins of McKenzie, TN, Ronald Watkins of Gleason, TN, Shelia (James) Clement of Gleason, TN, Theresa (Greg) Hatley of McKenzie, TN, and Sandy (Bryan) Culpepper of Nashville, TN. Hurley leaves behind two sisters, Louise Barnett and Ledell Jordan, both of Gleason, TN. He also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Hurley was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Eula Mayo, son, Field Watkins, sister, Ruby Gray, and two brothers, Neal and Jr. Mayo.
