Mrs. Margaret Jane Black was born Aug. 24, 1826, at the place where she lived and died. She was 91 years, 1 month, and 22 days old. She was married to J.T. Black, Sept. 10, 1846. To this union was born eleven children. She died Oct. 15th, 1917, at 8 o'clock p.m. The funeral was conducted at the home in the presence of a large number of friends. The interment in the family cemetery just a few steps from the home.
