William “Bill” Courtney Reid, Jr., 96, of Ridgeland SC, passed away at Ridgeland Nursing Center, Ridgeland SC on January 2, 2018. He was born on April 14, 1921 in Hammond LA to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Lavinia Vincent Reid.
Mr. Reid was self-employed as an architect, and a building contractor. He served many years as a Baptist Minister, and was a pioneer of several churches in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. He was a US Army veteran and served in the European Theater during WWII. He was a Gideon and in his spare time enjoyed wood working and building cabinets
