Bill was born February 19, 1927 in Watsonville, California to David and Grace Fant.
After graduating from high school, he helped his father farm strawberries and apricots on their farm in California, and later pecans on their farm in Millsap, Texas. After his father's death, Bill continued in the pecan business for several years.
In his youth, Bill was a big fan of car racing and he was a wonderful dancer. He was a quiet man, very intelligent, and liked by all who knew him.
Bill was a Christian and a faithful member of Grace Community International.
We will miss his smile and his gentle demeanor.
