Frances Tanner Muse, 62, Clifty Road, Somerset, died suddenly Sunday, November 25, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown.

She was born in Somerset on March 7, 1928, daughter of the late Charley F. and Pearlie Meece Tanner. She was an employee of GTE in Somerset and Elizabethtown for 40 years, a member of Local IBEW, and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn L. Kuhnapfel, Bronston; a brother, William ELwood Tanner, Eubank; a sister, Anna Lee Girdler, Somerset; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carl and Franklin D. Tanner; and two sisters, Cratha June and Lotia Tanner.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. C.E. Jacobs officiating.
