Mrs. Peter Allerding
Passes Away Saturday
Evening at Farm Home
Mrs. Melinda Ann Allerding, wife of Peter Allerding, passed away at her home northeast of Harbor Springs at 9:30 last Saturday evening. Mrs. Allerding last winter suffered a stroke of paralysis and just a few days ago suffered another stroke which resulted in her death.
She was born in Ohio August 11, 1845. Had resided in Harbor Springs twenty-eight years.
Besides her husband she leaves several children to mourn her.
The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the home, Rev. George Weaver, of Petoskey, officiating, and the body was taken to her old home at Plymouth, Ind., for burial.
