Margie Autry Evans, 86, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away. Shee was born in Marshville, North Carolina to Charlie and Lovetta Taylor Autry. She later met and united in marriage to Billy Evans. She assisted her husband in the Watermelon Business, as well as, being the owner and operator of Evans Grocery. She also worked as a seamstress for many years. She was always on the go, but when she was home she loved to talk on the telephone and watch TV. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and cross stitch. She was also a very good record keeper. She also enjoyed cheering for her Carolina Panthers in which she was an avid fan. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a faithful and lifelong member of Philadelphia Baptist Church where she held numerous positions throughout the years there, including the historian of the church. She loved her Lord and her church family dearly, they always held a special place in her heart.
