Scottsdale - Claude Crosier (June) died on his favorite holiday, Christmas Day, 2017. Born January 25, 1926 to Claude and Edna Crosier of Laconia, Indiana. He served in the Army in World War II in Italy from 1944-1946 in the Medic Company and then in the Motor pool, 499th Quartermaster Car Company. He is survived by his daughter, June Lea Ward of Manhattan Beach, California; son, Terry Crosier of Scottsdale; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 1 son-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He served many years in the City of Scottsdale, retiring as Director of Sanitation in 1984, an event marked by a memorable garbage truck parade. The Family will hold a private graveside service at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery prior to a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Scottsdale, 7025 East Osborn Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85251. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Scottsdale or the American Cancer Society.
