NEWPORT - Reginald Moulton, 93, died December 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1924 in Atkinson, a son of Charles and Emma (Paine) Moulton. He was drafted in 1943 and earned 2 Purple Hearts as a military policeman in the Army during World War II.

He married the former Edith Stone on July 26, 1953 and worked as a self employed lumberman. They were married for 60 years before she predeceased him in 2013.

He is survived by his children, Charles Moulton and wife Vicki, and Pamela Nunes and husband Tom; grandchildren, Sarah Moulton and fiancé Josh, Brandi Moulton and fiancé Sam, Jacobie Pouliot and husband Dave, Clairissa Smith and husband Mike, and Stephen Bemis; great grandchildren, Daniel Tuttle, Alex, Emma and Oliver Pouliot, and Karleigh Smith; many nieces and nephews and a special friend William Bemis.

In addition to his wife, Reginald was predeceased by his siblings, George, Aubrey, Clarence, Llewelyn, Little Reggie, Myrtle, Gladys, and Ruth.

Graveside committal services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, May 5th, at the North Newport Cemetery, Newport, with Pastor Al Worden officiating. (Crosby & Neal Funeral Home)
