Susan J. Johansson, 65, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette. She was born on November 4, 1952 in Linton, IN to the late Paul and Ella Mae (O'Haver) Holtsclaw.
She graduated from Switz City Central in 1970 and studied to become a dental assistant, graduating in 1972. Susan also attended Ivy Tech in Lafayette, IN, earning a degree in Criminal Justice in 2010.
She married William Harrison on March 3, 1970. They had two children.
On October 25, 2003, she married Anders Johansson in Vasteraas, Sweden and he survives.
Susan retired from Great Lakes Chemical in 2010. She enjoyed country music, concerts, sewing, traveling, NASCAR and spending time with her family.
Surviving with her husband are two children; four grandchildren; two brothers; nephews; cousins; and extended family.
