Phyllis Skaggs, 80, of 827 Cub Run Rd. Greenup Kentucky, passed away at her home Friday, December 22nd, 2017 with part of her family by her side. She was born to Herman Edward Webb and Ida Jane Burton Webb on May 23, 1937 in York, Kentucky. She married Herschel Wayne Skaggs on December 12th, 1953, and they lived together in Greenup.
Phyllis is survived by her husband and 4 children: Charloette Ann Skaggs Fink (Doug Fink), John Wayne Skaggs (Cheryle Haskins), Keith Allen Skaggs (Merrie Jane Cunningham Skaggs), and Thomas Ray Skaggs (Cheryle Penix Skaggs). She is also survived by one sister: Leona Mcqueen, and two bothers: Jimmy Paul (Sue Brown), and Lawerence Paul (Helen Hunt), along with with 12 grandchildren.
Phyllis was proceeded in death by: her father, her mother, her brother Homer Webb, her sisters: ;Lillie Mae Webb and Janeve Webb Harris, one grandson Keith Allen Skaggs Jr., and one granddaughter Heidi Marie Skaggs.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, Decemner 27th, 2017 at Eureka Baptist Chruch from 6-9pm. Funeral will be held Wednesday, December 27th, 2017 at 2pm by Ezra Burton. Burial will be after the funeral service at Holly Cemetery on Mud Lick Rd, Greenup Ky.
