Toluca, IL - Lester Floyd Fogle, 90, of 204 Maple St. died at 6:25 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2003, at Rose Garden Care Center in Peoria Heights.

Born Dec. 31, 1912, in Litchfield to Charles Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Davis Fogle, he married Violet Louise Buchanan on June 25, 1947, in Peoria. She died Aug. 27, 1977. He later married Rosemary Damm on Dec. 1, 1983, in Henry. She survives.

Also surviving are seven sons, Raymond of Chillicothe, John, Alan and David, all of Peoria, Charles ''Bill'' of Arnold, Mo., Paul (and Marty) of Loveland, Colo., and Eugene of Bureau; six daughters, Mary (and Lawrence) Medearis and Jane Williams, both of Henry, Patricia Wooster of Bureau, Lois Wright of Peru, Nancy Fogle of Peoria Heights and Tina Page of Northridge, Calif.; two sisters, Rosella Pryor of Butler and Evelyn Baker of Granville; 28 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 15 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Zimmerman; one sister; and four brothers.

He had been a machinist at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria.

Cremation has been accorded. Burial of ashes will be in Butler Cemetery in Butler at a later date.
