Martha Mae Beck, 86, of Farmer City, IL, passed away at 8:17 P.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
A private family graveside memorial service will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City, IL, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Farmer City Food Pantry. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, IL, in charge of arrangements.
Martha was born on July 9, 1931, in Bloomington, IL, a daughter of Wayne P. and Verla Trimble Moister. She married Joseph Lloyd Beck on November 19, 1949, in Farmer City, IL. He passed away on November 9, 2007.
She is survived by her children, Dan Beck of Farmer City, IL, Marsha (Kenneth) Peters of Farmer City, IL, Patricia (Randy) Harris of Farmer City, IL, and Susan (Dion) Lathrom of Farmer City, IL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lloyd Beck, parents and daughter-in-law, Donna Beck.
Martha and her husband farmed together all of their married life.
