Tiffin M. Adkins, 51, died suddenly Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Ft. Wayne. He was born in Richmond July 8, 1966 to Raymond and Nancy Groff Adkins.

He worked for many years in the Walter E. Helmke Library at Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne. Tiffin was an Information Services and Instruction librarian, serving as liaison to Education and Public Policy. He loved his job and took great pride in his work.

Tiffin had a great love of the outdoors. Fishing, camping and motorcycles were just some of the many adventurous activities that he loved.

In addition to his parents Tiffin is survived by his sister, Lynn Chirinsky (Ben) of Trinity, Florida, nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Dane Adkins.

Funeral services for Tiffin will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 23, 2018 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Groff officiating. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
