Wilbur Carlile "Webb" Morris was born on December 20, 1924 in Ceralvo, Ohio County, Kentucky, the son of Clarence Perry "C P" Morris (1873–1955) and Zula Finis (Bratcher) Morris (1881–1956).
He was married on April 18, 1966 in Robertson County, Tennessee as the 2nd husband of Dorothy Mae "Dot" (Snyder) Harrell (1936–2012), the daughter of Henry Carlile Snyder (1912–1967) and Virginia "Belle" (Alsup) Snyder (1917–2002).
Webb served in the US Navy Air Force and was active in the American Legion. He enjoyed helping veterans receive the benefits that they deserved, and leisure time was spent fishing.
A resident of Goodlettsville, Davidson County, Tennessee, he was 92 years old and a widower when he passed away on December 13, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son Kenneth Morris and by his daughter Dawn (Morris) Gray. Survivors included three daughters, two sons-in-law and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 2nd-great-grandchildren, as well as other family members and friends.
Funeral Services for Webb were held at Spring Hill Funeral Home, and burial was in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
