Alpine- Jerry Dean McGill 75, passed away on December 15, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. He was retired from FMC after 31 years of service and 16 years of service with Union County Sheriff's Dept. He was a retired U. S. Army Veteran with 36 years of service.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Wayne Frederick and Bro. Terry Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Hogue McGill of Alpine; two daughters, Amy Wigington (Scotty) of Ellistown and Lori Daves (Ken) 0f Benton, Arkansas; a sister, Aletha Adderholt of Saltillo; three brothers, Wayne McGill (Pat) of Ripley, Bobby McGill (Peggy) of Jericho and Mickey McGill (Donna Kay) of Jericho; four grandchildren, Brittany Greenhill (Curt), Brandi Jones (Tim), Hannah Daves and Dawson Daves; five greatgrandchildren, Chloe Greenhill, Bentley Greenhill, Cain Ledford, Cooper Jones and Ellie Jones.
Pallbearers will be Ken Daves, Scotty Wigington, Curt Greenhill, Tim Jones, Miles McDonald and Joe Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Gladys Harper McGill; and a brother-in-law, Bob Adderholt.
Visitation will be held at Waters Funeral Home, Sunday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M
