She was born October 12, 1914 in Bay City Michigan to the late Joseph and Edna Bourdon and was the widow of Paul Robert Miller who died in 1991.
Vera was wonderful mom, wife, and homemaker who also worked as a bookkeeper with the Monroe Shine Company from 1963 until retiring in 1980. She was a talented seamstress and loved flowers, gardening and animals. Vera will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Survivors include: Her daughter Nancy M. Norwood and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Reception will be held Tuesday December 19th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
