Gary Thomas Butler, 71, lifelong resident of Ball Play, Alabama, died on December 12, 2017. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, son and daughter-in-law, two daughters and one son-in-law, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Shannon Gary Butler; parents, Chester and Myrtle Butler; and brother, Steve Butler. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. December 15, 2017 at Sims Chapel Church.
