Burial information taken from Virginia death certificate. She was born between 1832 and 1840, according to various census records, to Richard "Dickey" Wood and Elizabeth "Betsy" Dehart. She first married Samuel Jackson Wood, son of Richard Wood (different man but same name as her father) and Elizabeth Martin, on 29 Dec 1855, although the ceremony itself took place on 06 Jan 1856. They had at least three children together: Rosabell, Lucinda, and Samuel Henry. Samuel Jackson Wood died in the Civil War, and Mary Omey remarried James Henry Clay Craig in Floyd County, Virginia, on 01 May 1865. To this union was born at least five children, according to various trees posted on Ancestry.com, including: Katherine, Lettie, James, Rena, and John. She died in Pulaski County, Virginia, on 09 Apr 1919, and was afterward buried in the cemetery at Thornsprings Methodist Church in Pulaski.
