Elisabeth Christine Sexton, 80, of Junction City, died December 10, 2017 at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City. Elisabeth was born March 18, 1937 in Frankenthal, Germany, the daughter of Valentin Nikolaus and Katharina (Keck) Graber.

Elisabeth did all of her schooling in Germany and graduated from high school in Frankenthal.

Elisabeth married Richard B. Sexton, who was serving in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany, on September 15, 1958 in Frankenthal. He died Feb. 9, 1984.

Elisabeth was a homemaker.

Survivors include: 3 sons, Richard L. Sexton and Mike Sexton, both of Junction City, and Nathan R. Sexton and his wife, Darlene, Emporia; 3 daughters, Carol Kidd and her husband Gevin, Deanna Wright and her husband Daniel, all of White City, and Suzzanne Sexton; a brother, Jurgen Graber; and 2 sisters, Siglinda Graber and Gisela Reuter, all of Germany; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Elisabeth was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

A private family burial service will be at a later date at Ft. Riley Post Cemetery, Ft. Riley, KS.
