VIDALIA — Ephriam C. Cannady, 91, died Friday in a Vidalia hospital after a long illness. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Home. The Rev. Otto Robinson, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Center Methodist Church Cemetery near Vidalia.
Mr. Cannady, a native of Emanuel County, lived in Vidalia most of his life. He was a member of Vidalia Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Laura B. Sealey of Fayetteville, N.C., Mrs. Florence Dexter, Mrs. Nellie Lofton and Mrs. Frances Bourghaltzer, all of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Eva Harden and Mrs. Maude Hutcheson, both of Reidsville, Mrs. Daisy Mae Osborne of Vidalia and Mrs. Susan Ann Sikes of Lyons; a son, Ephriam C. Cannady, Jr. of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Conley of Vidalia; 44 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
