He died about 9 p.m. Friday, March 8, 1974 in the home of a son in Silsbee. A native of Sabine County, he lived here 31 years, was a retired carpenter and a former city night watchman.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Berryman Doyen; two daughters, Lalor Weaver of Kirbyville, and Lillian Bonner of Vidor; six sons, George, John and Jimmie Doyen Jr., all of Silsbee, Fred Doyen of Sulphur, Grady Doyen of Lake Charles and Hubert Doyen of Dallas, and a sister, Katherine McDaniel of Silsbee.
