Wendy Renee Andrews, age 47, of Purdon, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Wendy was born in Anchorage, Alaska on September 17, 1970 to William Henry Hogue, Jr. and Carla Sue Hardin Hogue.
Wendy graduated from Blooming Grove High School in 1988. She was amazing at everything she did. She loved to cook, sew and spend time with family. Over the years, Wendy handmade some of the most beautiful quilts. Quilting was her favorite hobby. Her greatest blessings were her children and grand babies. Wendy was passionate about everything she did.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Buba Andrews.
Wendy is survived by her husband of twenty two years, David Andrews; her son, Rusty Thompson, and step children Laura Serrano and husband, Cesar, Marshall Andrews, and Nikki Satterwhite and husband, Mac; grandchildren, Braydon and Avery Serrano, Desi and Dustin Miller. She is also survived by her father, William Hogue and mother, Sue Richner and husband, Butch; her brothers, Richard Hogue, Allen and Shea Hogue; nephews, Jeff Hogue, Bradely Hogue, Zachery Hogue and Conner Hogue and her niece Krista Carlos. Wendy is also survived by her mother-in-law, Ruby Andrews, her brothers-in-law Tracy Andrews and Wes Stacy and her sister-in-law, Becky Mathews and husband, Mat.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana. Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Dresden Cemetery with Rev. Charky Marquis officiating. Pallbearers will be Rusty Thompson, Jeff Hogue, Tracy Andrews, Wes Stacy, Cesar Serrano and Marshall Andrews.
