Funeral service held from the Congregational church at Partridge on Sunday afternoon, Mrs. Sarah Sims of Abbyville, aged 87 years, died at the home of her son Andrew Sims, Friday moring at 4:30 after an illness of 14 months. A year ago Dec 5, she stepped out on a porch and fell on the cement walk, breaking a hip. Since that time she has been compelled to lie in bed, although she never complained, bearing her suffering with great patience. She is survived by 5 children: Andrew of Abbyville, Will and Ed of Partridge, Mrs Addie Hamilton of Partridge and Mrs. Martha Bowman of Lawton, Oklahoma. Buried at Partridge Cemetery.
