Marlene Pleak was born April 6, 1938 at Indianapolis, Ind. to Orian and Dolores Pleak. She moved to Idaho in March of 1948 and lived in Malta, Filer, and Nampa. She worked as an LPN at West Valley Medical Center, Mercy Medical Center, and was one of the original staff members of Terry Riley Health Services. She loved painting and was a certified instructor of the Bob Ross painting method. She had a great big heart and will always be remembered for her love of children and her helping hand for those in need. Due to injuries received in an automobile accident last Wednesday, she went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 19, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by a brother Orian (Mary) of Avon, Indiana; sisters, Barbara (Larry) Roberts of Boise, and Cheryl Pleak of Bonney Lake, Wash. A visitation will be held today, Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Avenue, Boise. A memorial service will be held at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.
