Ronald Ron N. Bergner, age 77 of Gillett, died on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Born on September 20, 1940 in Hayes, Wisconsin, he is the son of the late Norman and Evelyn (Reinke) Bergner. On June 29, 1968, in the Town of Green Valley, Ron was united in marriage to Jane Falk, who preceded him in death in November of 2008. Ron owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Green Valley until his retirement. He enjoyed going out to eat, attending county fairs, playing dartball, watching polka and game shows on television and spending time with his family. He was a member of Faith United Lutheran Church in Gillett.
Ron is survived by his children, Betty (Elmore) Baumgarten of Seymour, Howard (Amy) Bergner of Shawano and Norman Bergner of Gillett; four grandchildren, Bobby (fiancée, Kassy), Brice, Selena, Dylan and a great-grandson, Parker; his brother, Chuck (Sharon) Bergner of Pulcifer; his sister-in-law, Barb Bergner of Appleton, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane; his parents; a brother, Robert and an infant sister, Janice.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Faith United Lutheran Church in Gillett with Rev. John Laatsch officiating. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
