Lona Mae Thacker, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 76.
The daughter of Ollie and Francis (Daniels) Trammell was born June 29, 1941 at Pindall, Arkansas.
She was a resident of Boone County most of her life and was a member of Church at the Well in Bellefonte. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and her cats. Lona was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and was always quick to help her children with any need they had. She loved the Lord, going to church and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ernie and Carl Trammell.
Lona is survived by her children, Danny Trammell of Pineville, MO; Stephen Cotton and wife Lora of Jasper; Sharon Fowler and husband James of Harrison; Becky Ramsey and husband James of Western Grove; Donnie Thacker and wife Kathy of Western Grove; and Nancy Trammell of Harrison; five brothers, Jim Trammell, Dale Trammell, Larry Trammell, Don Trammell and Simpson Trammell; three sisters, Bernice Crow, Lois Dean and Jackie Martin; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Crow officiating. Burial will follow at White Church Cemetery. Following the burial, the family will gather for a meal at Krooked Kreek Firestation, everyone is invited to attend.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Allen Cotton, Marty Farmer, Brad Farmer, Michael Thacker, Dakota Thacker, Zanetta Burchfield and Cynthia Carlton.
