Ross C. Ervin, 73, of 449 Locust St., a former driver for City Cab Co., died Monday in his home after a long illness.
Mr. Ervin was born in Wellston, O., but had been a resident of the Akron area for 30 years.
He leaves his wife, Mayme; two sons, Gerald D. of Ravenna and Chester of Akron; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Noirot of Barberton, Mrs. Marjorie Rossiter of Uniontown, Mrs. Beulah Moon of Akron, and Mrs. Joseph Mussarra in Germany; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Biggs Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 tonight. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
