Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Glant Funeral Chapel for Peter Balmer, 9 years old [sic], of R. R. 5, Plymouth, who died early Thursday Morning, October 10, in the Myers Nursing Home near Bremen, where he had been a resident for the past five years. Rev. F. G. Kuebler, pastor of Salem Evangelical United Brethren church, where Mr. Balmer was a member, officiated in the services and burial was in the Bremen cemetery.
He was born at Interlockin Canton, Berne, Switzerland, Sept. 15, 1869, and was married to Marie Renas who died in 1946.
Surviving are two sons, LaVon of Plymouth and Richard of Bremen; one daughter, Miss Bertha Balmer of Plymouth; and one brother, Henry Balmer of Bremen. There are six grandchildren.
