Joyce B. Tabler, 74, of Zanesville died at 8:00 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2004 at Genesis Extended Care. She was born December 10, 1929 in Zanesville. She is the daughter of the late Harry L. and Katherine Reed Romich. She was employed at Good Samaritan Hospital for 17 ½ years, Ballas Egg for 20 years, Adams Lane and ODC, and at the Muskingum County Senior Center. She also volunteered at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member at the Immanuel United Church of Christ and was a member of the choir, a member of Muskingum Co. Senior Citizens. She was also in the Rebecah Circle at the church. She is survived by two daughters; Frances (Gary)Passwaters, Barbara (Brian)Huffman Wildman, seven sons, Frank R (Roberta)Davis Jr, Thomas G. Davis, Harry John (Sara)Davis, Steve L (Connie)Davis, Jay Albert (Donna)Davis, Douglas Dean (Carol)Davis, & Daniel Lee (Julia)Davis. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, a brother, Clifton " Buddy"(Rhea)Hook, four half sisters, Naomi (Paul)O'Hara, Marguerite Walton, Sharon (Larry)Harper & Charlene Auckerman, step-sister, Rose Shadwick. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by biological father, Garrett Hook, her husband Andrew A. Tabler whom she married in 1973, an infant daughter, Martha Jane Davis, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one sister, Janice L. Hook.
