Patti Carpenter, 71, went to Heaven on November 20, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children: Kim (Jeff) Marsack of Hammond, Indiana; Kevin (Holli) Carpenter of Valparaiso, Indiana; Kerry (Patty) Carpenter of Merrillville, Indiana; Kinda (Jason) Clifford of Hammond, Indiana; and Keith (Debbie) Carpenter of Nashville, Tennessee; her 11 grandchildren: Mylee, Aubrey, Cassidy, Kreg, Kade, Jocelyn, Kole, Jeffrey, Julianne, Jake, and Jennie; and her sisters: Linda (Melvin) Meister of St. Amant, Louisiana; and Connie (Bob) Graham of Olathe, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband David of 49 years, her brother Ron Shirley, and a daughter-in-law Jennifer Carpenter.
