Flora Belle, beloved wife of Edwin Decker passed away last Friday mornig in the General hospital, Clgary after an illness of some weeks duration. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, thrity seven years ago, Married in Trafton, Wash. and leaves to mourn her loss a bereaved husband, four children, Leon, Vernon, Olive, Mamie, her mother Mrs. Celesta M. Rowley of Los Angeles California, sister, Mrs. Gossard of Los Angeles and brother Joe Rowley of Orange C. Cal.
the late Mrs. Decker came to this district with her husband 7 years ago. children range from 18 yrs to 3 years. To her husband she was a loving helpmate, and her friends, found her a Christian woman, sincere in her friendship and possessed of true neighborly qualities. She will be sadly missed in her home and among her friends.
The funeral was held to the Brooks cemetery on March 30, 1919. with Rev. Butgarret of Medicine Hat conducting service and in an eloquent manner told of the good life the late Mrs. Deck had lead. A large number of citizens attended the remains to their last earthly resting place. .
