GIBB L. DULANEY FUNERAL THRUSDAY
Gibb L. Dulaney, 60, widely known citizen of Fulton, died at his home early Wednesday following an illness of several months. Although his health had been declining for some time, the end came suddenly with only members of his immediate family at his bedside. Mr. Dulaney had been prominently connected with the affairs of Fulton and Itawamba County for many years. He was bookkeeper for Haynes Lumber Co. for a time, Postmaster of Fulton, Cashier of the old Itawamba County Bank, and was also connected with the Fulton Bank. He also served as justice of the peace for the 5th district of Itawamba County for one term. His widow, Mrs. Rebecca Senter Dulaney, four daughters, Mrs. Delmus Steele, Jasper, AL, Mrs. B. C. Riley, New Orleans, LA, Miss Celia Dulaney, Fulton, Miss Annie Hope Dulaney Scooba and one son, Sgt. Gilbert Dulaney, who has been stationed with the air force in England for more than two years, survives him.
He also leaves two brothers, Jimmie Dulaney, Wiley Dulaney, both of Fulton. There are four grandchildren, Bobbie Steele and Fred Steele, Ray and Jane Riley.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Fulton Baptist Church, Thursday at 3 o'clock p.m. by his pastor, Rev. A. M. Overton with burial at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery. Hawkins and Son have charge of arrangements
