Son of Joel Bowers and Martha Adele Pletcher, killed in a traffic accident on North Tuckahoe Street in Bellwood, Pa. near the family home when crossing the street after meeting his father who was returning from work. Bobby's mother long maintained that the driver of the car was drunk but that the driver managed to sober up before the police arrived
