Leona Clara Seelig, passed from this life November 27, 2017 in Fredericksburg, Texas. She was born in Haskell County July 15, 1923 to Emma (Rueffer) and Gus Pueschel. She married Charlie Seelig on January 16, 1941.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Willow Cemetery, Haskell with Rev. Paul Leonard officiating. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Smith Family Funeral Home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell, TX.
Suvivors include her son Winford Lee Seelig and wife Sandra Seelig of Fredericksburg, Texas and son Mark Charles and wife Rebecca of Brian, Texas. 3 grandchildren: Laci Frye of Oxford, MS; Derek Seelig of Fredericksburg, Texas; and Dustin Seelig of Brian, Texas. 5 great grandchildren: Emma, Hailey and Rachael Mooneyham of Oxford, MS and Madilyn (Madi) and Augustus (Gus) Seelig of Fredericksburg, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers: Gus, Ervin, Justin and Monroe Pueschel; her sisters: Erna Peiser and Adele Grogan.
