Allen Edgar Copeland, 69, of Maud, Texas, died Monday in a local hospital following a brief illness.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Glenn Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Copeland was born March 5, 1918, at Maud. He was retired from the pulpwood business and a Baptist.
Survivors include one brother, Colston Copeland of Maud; and one sister, Elease Saunders of Magnolia, Ark.
