She was the wife of Reverend Stanley Smith of Perryville. Born November 8, 1908 in Washington County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Crain Webb. She was a member of Hedgeville Baptist Church in Boyle County.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her daughter, Joetta. Survivors beside her husband include two daughters, Lindell (Ronnie) Logue of Danville, and Gail (Robert) Holsclaw of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; two sons, Robert Lewis Smith of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and Mauricen "Sonny" Smith of Perryville; a brother, Roy Webb of Shelbyville, Indiana; a sister, Viola Holderman of New Albany, Indiana; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Wilder Funeral Home, Perryville, by the Reverend Mike Moynaham. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Washington County.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Perryville Rescue Squad.
