Mrs. Sevia Raelson, 86, 1223 Campbell, died Tuesday at Porter Memorial hospital.
Born March 21, 1883 in Sweden, she was a daughter of Anders and Signe Anderson. She was married in Sweden April 1907, to John Raelson who preceded her in death May 16, 1962.
She was a resident of Valparaiso since 1923, coming from Springfield, Mo. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Emma) ) Brown, Valparaiso; three sons, Arthur of LaPorte, Verner and August, both of Valparaiso; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Oscar, and a sister, Alma, both of Sweden.
Services will be held Thursday at Bartholomew Funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. H. A. Reischauer officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight.
