Harry B. Shankle of Seventh Avenue, Ford City, died this morning, Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 7:42 o'clock, in Armstrong County Hospital. The body was removed to the J.L.C. Welch Funeral Home, 815 Fifth Avenue, Ford City, where friends may pay their respects. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Shankel Services To Be Held Friday

Ford City, Feb. 18 – Funeral services for Harry B. Shankle of Seventh Avenue will be held from the J.L.C. Welch Funeral Home, Fifth Avenue, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Walter Kennedy of Templeton will be in charge and Burial will follow in Kittanning cemetery. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. George Cornman, Girard, Ohio; Mrs. Carrie Lambing, Kittanning; Mrs. John McGeary, Rose Valley; Mrs. Joseph Miller, West Kittanning; Mrs. William Stewart, Chicora; Frank, West Kittanning, and Arthur, Adrian.

Harry is buried in an unmarked grave next to his parents, Ephraim Buffington Shankel and Elizabeth Bollman.
