Marshall J. "Frosty" Forrest, of Joliet, passed away at Alden Estate of Naperville, Thursday, November 23, 2017. Age 82 years.

Survived by his children, Katherine Lloyd, Frances (Douglas) Dilday, Sr., Arnold (Serena) Forrest, Carl (Kathy) Forrest and Anna Danbury. Five grandchildren, Douglas (Christy) Dilday, Jr., John Dilday, Dolores (Geno) Solana, Fawna Forrest and Alexandria Forrest. Three great-grandchildren, Nova and Phoenix Solana and Trent Forrest. Three brothers, Maurice, James and Kenneth Forrest. Six sisters, Suzane, Marchia, Lucille, Linda, Maggie and Roberta. Also numerous nieces and nephew.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Dolores M. Forrest (2012). A son, Lawrence Forrest (2004); son-in-law, Thomas Lloyd; and grandson, Raymond Danbury in infancy. His brother, Patrick Forrest; and sister, Barbara.

Marshall was born May 26, 1935 in Sault Sainte Marie, MI. to Arnold and Myrtle Forrest. Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving as a Fleet Marine Force Medic where he met the love of his life, the former Dolores M. Linder, USN. Member of American Legion Marne Post #13. Member of Grace United Methodist Church. Marshall retired from Mobil Oil Refinery after 25 years. He enjoyed hunting with his brother Jim and nephews. Marshall loved to dance earning the nick name "HAPPY FEET "

Memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 1718 Avalon Ave., Wednesday, November 29th at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Fritz Bartels officiating. Inurnment Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated.
