Lee William Ault, 93, of Buckville, Arkansas, passed away November 19, 2017. He was born July 11, 1924 to Pearl (Merriott) and Efridge Eli Ault and was raised around the Hot Springs area.

Lee entered the Civilian Conservation Corps at the age of 17 with a forged certificate and proceeded to join the Navy at 18. He served from 1942 to 1948 during WWII, spending most of his time aboard the USS Situla AK 140.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arace, Jake, Eugene (infant), and Zeulen Ault; sisters, Velma Carr, Irbie Young, Leona Dickerson, Madge Glasgow, Willie Pearce, and Zena Jones.

He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren, as well as friends from his community. Lee was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Caruth Village Funeral Home.

A celebration of Lee’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Cemetery in Jessieville.
