She was born in Brunswick, July 3, 1934, the daughter of Joseph E. and Lucia Paradies Coulombe and attended St. John’s School. She married Charles D. Berry, Jr., in Brunswick on February 27, 1954. Mr. Berry died May 31, 2015.
Mrs. Berry worked in area restaurants as a cook and waitress for many years, retiring after 22 years from Vincenzo’s Restaurant. She also supported her children by taking in ironing. Her family was the most important part of her life.
As a young woman, she enjoyed playing softball, riding bike, reading and completing puzzles.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Adolphe, Gerard, George and William Coulombe and four sisters, Marie Cox, Rita Stegall, Simmone Berry and Monique Burgess.
She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Berry of Topsham, Jean Berry of Brunswick and June Berry-Johnson of Richmond; a son, Francis Berry of Brunswick, a brother Joseph Coulombe of Lisbon Falls; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
