A.C. Graber, 56, LaPorte, died 12:50 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 1986, in the LaPorte Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Graber was born April 6, 1930 in Davis County. He married Cleo Williams in Washington, Ind., in 1952, and she survives; with two daughters, Pamela Rock, Kalamazoo, and Debbie Scudder, Westport; a sister, Fern Action, Washington, Ind.; three grandsons and one step-granddaughter.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force in the Korean War. He was a member of the LaPorte Elks, the Kiwanis Club, and the Association of School Administrators. He had retired recently, due to ill health, and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.

Graber was with the Decatur County School Corporation for eight years, and left in 1976 to go to LaPorte, with the LaPorte School System.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Washington, Ind., at the Gill Funeral Home, with the
Rev. Robert Church officiating.

Burial will be in the Sugarland Memory Garden in Washington.

Friends may call today at the Cutler Funeral Home in LaPorte. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Gill Funeral Home in Washington, Ind.
