Aurora, Utah - Our loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, friend and neighbor; Clark Wendall Brunson, age 75, passed away from complications of multiple myeloma in Gunnison Valley Hospital on November 21, 2017. He was born November 30, 1941 in Fillmore, Utah to George Leo and Nina May Jacobson Brunson. He married Connie Jean Henrie on April 4, 1975 in the Manti Temple.
He graduated from Millard High School in 1961. Served an LDS mission in Northwestern States mission. Attended college at College of Southern Utah (now SUU). Graduated from cash register school in California. Instructor at Sevier Valley Tech in Richfield Utah. Owned and operated Clark’s Business Machine and Archery Supply in Aurora Utah. Worked in Sevier County Assessor’s Office for a short time.
He was active in the LDS Church, serving as the Executive Secretary, ward clerk, finance clerk, Sunday school president and second counselor in the Bishopric, and served several years as manager of the Bishop’s Storehouse.
He was an avid hunter and angler. He was skilled in making his own bows, arrows, and obsidian arrowheads. Clark tied his own flies for fishing also. He raised a large garden that attracted people from surrounding towns. He grafted and budded his own fruit trees and grapes from vintage varieties.
Clark is survived by his wife Connie, of Aurora; children: Clint (Jodie) Brunson of Ogden; Monica (Neal) Stevens of North Logan; grandchildren: Averi, Tate, and Cannon Brunson; Sisters: Gloria MacGregor of Auburn WA; Ina Averson of West Valley City, UT; sister-in-law: Kaye Brunson of Richfield, Utah; and brother-in-law: Rudy Aspiazu of Winnemucca NV.
Preceded in death by parents George Leo and Nina May Brunson; his brother Leo Brunson and his sister Nona Aspiazu.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 85 North Main Street in Aurora, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
