Theresa A. Pasqualini Alferi, 93, of Colchester, CT passed away on November 14th with her loving family at her side. Born in Norwich on May 7, 1924 to the late Frank and Christina Pasquilini, she was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy 1943. She married her husband, the late Salvatore Alferi in 1946 and they enjoyed the next 62 years together. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, made famous by her spirit and spunk to all who knew her. Her passions included her devotion to the church, the Legion of Mary, the Italian American War Veterans club, Skipbo with her grandchildren, and her beloved family of friends at the Colchester Senior Center. She is survived by her children: Nancy Hanna of Leland, NC., Thomas F. Alferi and Christine Sapula of Colchester, Christine and Patrick Tamborra of Salem, Tammy Alferi of Manchester, and her grandchildren: Tracy Tamborra and Marcus Walton, Eric Flower, Julie Tamborra and Kevin Murphy, Marybeth Tamborra, Anna Alferi, Samuel Sapula, and her eight great-grandchildren: Teresa, Myles, Amelia, Cassandra, Kevin, Molly, Donovan, and Leah. Theresa is also survived by her sister, Sonia Tedesco and numerous nieces and nephews. Aside from her beloved husband, Theresa is predeceased by her grandson Thomas J. Alferi, her brother Natale Pasqualini and her sister Mary DeBartolo. A visitation will be held at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, Friday, November 17th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a mass of Christian burial at the Cathedral of St. Patrick, Saturday, November 18th at 11:00 AM
