Carolyn June Deatherage, 64, of St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Thursday at a St. Joseph Hospital.
She graduated from Benton High School. She retired from the St. Joseph State Hospital Dietary department.
She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Michael Turner, and a son Paul Deatherage.
She is survived by her mother Elsie Turner of St. Joseph, MO., a son Tony Deatherage and his wife Michelle, and a daughter Shelley Berry both of St. Joseph, three grandchildren Tylor and Trevor Deatherage, and Ashley Berry. A sister Marilyn Shanks and husband Ron of St. Joseph, MO.
Funeral services were held at the Rupp Funeral Home.
