Herbert H. Baker, 91, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Greenwood Village South. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He was born Jan. 14, 1909, in Bronaugh, Mo. His parents were Garfield and Daisy (Troxel) Baker.
He married Veatrice (Rodgers) Baker on June 30, 1935. 'She preceded him in death April 22, 2000.
Survivors include four sons, Stephan Baker of New Lenox, IL, Richard Baker of Houston Texas, David Baker of Manassas, Va., and Alan Baker of Bentonville, Ark.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was a teacher and school superintendent at Illinois schools.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Southport and the Indiana Masonic Lodge.
