James "Oscar" Luttrell, 98 of Hemet, California passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Yorkshire House in Hemet, California. He was born on Wednesday, February 28, 1917 in Corona, New Mexico, and was the son of the late Pachel and Ruthann "Dipprey" Luttrell. Oscar was raised in Dalhart, Texas with his brothers Glen and John who have preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Claire Truman Luttrell and a step-daughter. Oscar was very active in Churches of Christ. He served both as a teacher and song leader. Oscar also was a very good dancer and taught Tap and Ballroom dance. He served as a Tec 5 in the Army and a Veteran of World War II. Oscar worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co in Los Angeles as an electrician. He was a self taught man who was a good conversationalist. Surviving are a step-daughter, nieces and nephews
