Gloria Jean Duty Dickenson, age 72, of Richmond, KY, passed away on September 12, 2017 at her home. Gloria was born in Harts Creek, WV on 12/5/44. She graduated from Chapmansville High School in 1962 & continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Gloria was a retired paralegal and in addition to spending time with her beloved husband, Gloria enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Gloria enjoyed working with her plants and flowers and she also avidly collected seeds for plants and flowers and traded with others. Gloria is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert “Bob” Lee Dickenson, sons Kevin Scott Dickenson and daughter-in-law Benita, Kasey Lee Dickenson and daughter-in-law Amy, and Kelly Robert Dickenson; grandchildren Gabriel Scott Dickenson, Terra Claudelene Dickenson, Alexa Marie Dickenson, Kody Robert Dickenson, Kaylen Marie Dickenson Swago and her husband Josh, Kaleb Jarrett Dickenson, Kye Alexander Dickenson, Kyrie Alyse Dickenson, Klyve Andrew Dickenson, Klayre Alizabeth Dickenson; great-grandchildren: Jaxsen Dean Swago, Brennen Lee Swago, Brayden Oleksiy Roy Kuznetsov, and sister Brenda Baldridge, as well as nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Ada Marie McCloud Dingess, and Jewett Elbert Duty, her sisters Donna Marvene Meade, Claudelene “Poochie” Spry, her brother Richard Anthony Duty, and her step-brothers Donald J Duty and Ronald Dale Duty.
