David Ross Barnes, 90, of Robertsdale, AL, and a longtime resident of Pensacola, FL for over 50 years, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017. He was born on January 11, 1927 in Castleberry, AL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Ryals Barnes of 60 years; parents, Edgar and Rebecca Barnes and his brothers, J.H., Speck, Arthur and Robert Barnes.
He is survived by his son, David Wayne (Susan) of Robertsdale, AL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pleasant Home Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3328 Holt Circle, Pensacola, FL 32526.
Funeral service will be at 12noon, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m.
